Robert Horowitz was born in South Africa and came to the US at the age of 14. He graduated with honors from Trinity College in Connecticut, and received an MBA from Columbia Business School in 1991. Following his formal education, Robert worked first as an equity research analyst, and then as a fee-only financial advisor in Stamford, CT.

In 2000 Robert moved to San Francisco to work at Charles Schwab. Since 2003 Robert has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families reach their life goals.

Robert lives in Mill Valley with his wife Jennifer, where they enjoy hiking, biking, good food and parenting their high school aged son.

Membership requires a signed oath of fiduciary duty to clients, and participation in the most strenuous continuing education requirement in the industry.


Member, Financial Planning Association
Members must adhere to a code of ethics that demands honesty, objectivity, competence and confidentiality. Robert is also a board member emeritus of the FPA of San Francisco.
